October 28th - Sheffield
It's a few hours before doors and we're lucky enough to have a CLOSER than ringside seat to the action! Enuff Z'Nuff are giving it their all, it's hard to believe it's just the

soundcheck! Hidden behind the drum riser, we peek out from behind the drums, imagining where the crowd will be in just a few short hours' time.

The song of choice for
soundcheck is Kiss The Clown.
Chip spits 'kiss this' down the microphone which makes the bar member jump out of their skin. Back in the dressing room Hummus and Broccoli are the vitamin fix of choice with Fiji water for hydration.

Dan practices some fancy rhythms on a practice board he whips out of his bag whilst the rest of us tap along and discuss the news headlines, ferry crossings and tonight's show. From the dressing room we can hear the crowd start to filter in.

Enuff Z'Nuff open the show with Magical Mystery Tour then for the second time tonight, we hear Kiss The Clown in full glory before the arrival of the super

catchy Love Train and crowd favourite Baby Loves You. Other songs played include set staples Jet, Fly High Michelle and New Thing. The crowd sing along to every word and as the last note of New Thing rings out multiple shouts for an encore can be heard!
Sadly there isn't time because the stage is about to become occupied by The Treatment.

The audience love them and opener Let's Get Dirty goes down a treat. They end the set on Rat Race.
For many this was the first-time seeing Erik Grönwall leading the vocals for Skid Row and

they're not disappointed. Live he's note perfect, owning the stage and working the crowd. Set favourites include opener Slave To The Grind, Big Guns gets some serious sing along and there's some jostling and someone gets kicked out during the sleazy classic Piece of Me.

After Monkey Business the crowd can't bear to think the evening is over and an encore of, I Remember You, Time Bomb and Youth Gone Wild soothes them.
Tonight Skid row are a member down. Snake contracted Covid earlier in the tour, so tonight his notes are played by his fantastic guitar tech.

There are big cheers of support for Casey Sproatt, who does a wonderful job. The evening comes to a close, the crowd filter out onto the streets, making their way home with arms full of merch. Not being able to decide which band deserves their hard-earned cash, most of the crowd settle for buying a tour t-shirt from each band, leaving skint but happy! Tonight was a mighty performance from all involved.
We make our way to the hotel for drinks and pizza and a post-show chat, a mighty fine evening, we can't wait for the next tour.
