The World We Left Behind For Others is the new concept album from Final Coil.
It follows on from Persistence Of Memory which was released in 2017, where that album considered themes of isolation through insufficient communication. The World We Left Behind For Others deals with the consequences. It's very well produced and the tracks flow elegantly from one to another seamlessly.
The opening Ash's is very well mixed to create a beautiful crisp layer of tones with a strong heartbeat pulsing through the piece. It's clear from the opener and continues through the album that the bands use of tonal layers is spot on.
The bands use of volume is also very well executed and the balance of every sound coming into play is perfect. All of this neatness of sound really helps create a thought provoking but enjoyable piece which without a doubt will interest fans of the more tuneful side of the Progressive rock genre and tickle the ears of the listeners of Pink Floyd.
