Grandma goes to see Little Caesar supporting Tyketto.

Tonight’s adventure is at J1 at Cambridge Junction.  Great venue and easy for us to drive to.

Grandma found it easy to buy a tour T-shirt for the hubby and drinks were sold by a very helpful young man behind the bar.  Card only sales as most places, seems to be the norm to be cashless these days.

Grandma asked for a chair as she is feeling her age today and one was provided quickly and with no fuss, plenty of visible security staff to hand.

The first band was the Dan Byrne Band. Grandma liked the look of the band, the lead singer has a wonderful tone to his voice and the harmony with the lead guitarist was lovely to hear.

The bass guitarist played with a coolness to his style and the drummer looked like he was having a fantastic time. Grandma liked the song “Hate Me”, sung wonderfully with a great beat, overall a 10 out of 10 from Grandma.

Grandma is always impressed with the stage crew who change the stage for the bands. They must practice a lot to get it broken down from one band and set up for the next so quickly and easily. It reminded Grandma of a formula one pit crew at work!

Next on was Little Caesar.

Grandma loves the sound they make, 3 guitars, a drummer and of course an amazing singer.  To Grandma they take her back to when she started listening to Rock, a great old style with a great sound to move to.

They started off with a great song called “Piece Of The Action”, Grandma loved the beat in this song.   Overall Granda was extremely impressed with Little Caesar and would definitely like to see them again.  Grandma’s style of Rock!

Tonights headline band, Tyketto.  The audience had grown by quite a few. I’m always curious as to why you get a ticket for three bands and then only turn up for the last band, tonight they missed two amazing bands!

Answers on a postcard to Grandma Loves Rock 🤘lol.

Grandma was again impressed with this band, the drummer was magnificent, Danny has one of the best rock voices I have heard for a long time.  3 guitarists, one of which also played the keyboards, Grandma got her hubby a tour T-shirt.  I’m not going to name one song that stood out to me as they were all amazing.

Would I see them again, hell yes!

Especially as they said they are looking at doing a new album next year.

I will say Grandma had a shit day today but tonight’s bands have definitely lifted her mood, so thank you Tyketto, Little Caesar and Dan Byrne for an amazing evening.
