The Dead Daisies, The Treatment & The Bites live review

By; Grandmas Loves Rock

Grandma’s back in London.

Tonight it’s London Shepherds Bush, The O2 empire to see The Dead Daisies, The Treatment and The Bites.  The journey to London was good today, no changing of trains and a lovely park opposite to sit down and eat some food.

The doors opened at 7 pm and hubby took up his usual stance at the barriers, Grandma sat upstairs.

The first band on was The Bites from Hollywood California, a four piece band consisting of a drummer, 2 guitarist and the singer. They started the set with “Knockin”, a great song, great solo from the guitarist and amazing vocals, all three other band members added harmonies when needed to a high standard.

Grandma was particularly impressed with the drummer in this band.  Grandma loved the energy of the singer when performing “Squeeze”. In fact, his energy never stopped thoughout the whole set.

During the last song “Do Me A Favour” the singer got off the stage to shake hands with and meet the crowd, it looked like the crowd really appreciated that. Amazing new young band with tonnes of potential with their instantly memorable catchy songs, their stage presence, a great frontman keeping the audience engaged throughout the whole set with his energy and smiles.

Hubby was happy, he got a set list.

Next on was The Treatment.

Grandma has seen them several times and really enjoys their music.

The treatment started their set with a fantastic song called “Wake Up The Neighbourhood”, a fantastic wall of sound. Grandma was in her happy place with 3 guitarist, a drummer and the singer with amazing vocals.

The next song was “Can’t Stop This Runaway Train” one of Grandma’s favourite songs from the boys from Cambridge. The Treatment were amazing this evening and I wished they had been onstage longer than they were, Grandma will nag hubby to get more tickets.

The final band of the night was the fantastic The Dead Daisies, their set started with the song “Light Em Up”, with great guitar work this was followed by “Rise Up” and Grandma joined in with the singing.

Again Grandma was happy with the set up of three guitarist, drummer and singer.

The drummers solo was insane! Grandma was impressed with the new songs they played from the new album that came out on 6th September.

This concert was absolutely fantastic, I would definitely see all three bands again and would rank the concert 100 out of 10.

Grandma is on her way hope to slumber land and it looks like the trains are running well this weekend.
